An enhanced prevention plan is generally recommended if your child has enamel defects, is medically compromised, has diet or hygiene related risk factors.

This prevention plan is in line with the SDCEP (Scottish Dental Clinical Effectiveness Program) guidelines, and will be recommended, if required, by our specialist in Paediatric Dentistry.

Please note that the fissure sealants will only be replaced/maintained during your planned review appointments.
